About

The topic of discussion was whether people with disabilities needed gaze and discrimination, which is a dilemma. Differential treatment, to some extent, is respect for difference. Whether it's accessibility or special education. They have brought real benefits to the disabled in terms of material benefits.

However, it also follow up with compassion and prejudice. It seems an inevitable consequence of human nature. It can be exemplified by physical disability, which evoke the fear of death, that motivates people to show their strength by attacking the disabled. This series tries to remind people with picture of accommodating those mental and physical difference. Real cases around me were recorded in this series, with themes and metaphors designed to make this documentary more subjective, making it better to express my thoughts than just recording them. I think these metaphors with images, such as Chinese wordplay and mythology, can transcend their function as words and better convey and penetrate the theme.
